This Privacy Policy explains how Offline Books — Read Unlimited ("App") ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information.
| Category | Examples | When |
|---|---|---|
| Account info | Email address, display name, user ID | When you sign in with email, Apple, or Google |
| Reading data | Library, bookmarks, reading progress, downloads | As you use the App (synced if signed in) |
| Usage data, linked to your account | Books you open, download and finish; reading time and progress; searches; Library changes; suggestions shown and tapped; screens and features used | As you use the App. On by default; you can switch it off in Settings → Privacy (see section 3) |
| Crash and diagnostic data | Crash and error reports (for example a failed download), app version, device model and system version. Not linked to your account, except problem reports about moving your books or your subscription from an older version of the App, which include your account so we can fix them | Automatically via Firebase Crashlytics and our server; always on |
| Device identifiers | IDFA / GAID (advertising ID) | Only after you grant App Tracking Transparency / GDPR consent |
| Purchase info | Subscription status, transaction IDs | Via Apple / Google and RevenueCat |
Collecting usage data for personalized suggestions and statistics is on by default. You can switch it off at any time in the App under Settings → Privacy → "Personalized suggestions & statistics".
When you switch it off, the App keeps only Essentials: what it needs to work (Library sync) and crash and error reports. We stop collecting usage data, Firebase Analytics collection is turned off on your device, and usage data we already hold is no longer linked to your account (searches also lose their text). You can switch it back on later.
We use the following third-party services that may receive data as described in their own privacy policies:
On first launch the App presents a consent dialog (UMP/ATT). You may choose to allow or deny personalized advertising. If you deny, you will still see ads but they will not be personalized. Ad-free subscribers are exempt from all ads.
You can change your consent choice at any time in the App's settings.
You may at any time:
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance.
